
Secondary Program
Students are eligible to enter the program if they are 14 years old by September 1st.

-> Class meets Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
-> Low student-teacher ratio
-> Students have Individual Education Plans (IEP)
-> Certified Exceptional Education Teacher
-> Families are invited to attend Parent Conferences
-> Families receive report cards
The Secondary Program also includes in the summer months a rich, age appropriate program designed to continue and reinforce academic basics while providing for fun and exciting learning in new areas.
Curriculum
There are four cornerstones to the curriculum in the secondary school: Academics, Daily Living Skills (DLS), Community Based Instruction (CBI) and Vocational Training.
The academic program includes Reading Arts, Mathematics, Writing, Spelling, Computer Skills, Daily Living Skills, Science and Social Studies, and Physical Education.
For the first time ever, The Learning Experience School has incorporated Music and Art into the Secondary School’s Program. Our students will now be able to enjoy and benefit from our Music Theater classes as well as explore the world of art in our Art classes.
