Primary School Program

Students are eligible to enter the program if they are 5 – 10 years old by September 1st.

–> Class meets Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
–> Low student-teacher ratio
–> Students have Individual Education Plans (IEP)
–> Certified Exceptional Education Teacher
–> Families are invited to attend Parent Conferences
–> Families receive written progress reports
–> Families receive report cards

The Primary School Program also includes in the summer months a rich, age appropriate program designed to continue and reinforce academic basics while providing for fun and exciting learning in new areas.

 

Curriculum

Our Primary Program provides students with the opportunity to develop and refine skills in the following areas:  Reading Arts, Mathematics, Language, Fine Motor, Science and Social Studies, and Physical Education.

For the first time ever, The Learning Experience School has incorporated Music and Art into the Primary School’s Program.  Our students will now be able to enjoy and benefit from our Music and Movement classes as well as explore the world of art in our Art classes.
