In order to be successful members of society and be as independent as possible, The Learning Experience School provides opportunities for learning to take place beyond the classroom. At the age of 14, our students begin Community Based Instruction (CBI). Here, our students go out into the community on a weekly basis and practice skills such as locating items in a store, safety in a parking lot, asking a store clerk for assistance, and paying for and purchasing items, just to name a few.
